Meet Dierdre Gaddy: The Story Behind Design Republic LV

Behind every beautifully designed home is a story — and for Dierdre Gaddy, the journey to founding Design Republic began long before luxury residences and editorial-worthy interiors.

With over 16 years of experience in high-end interior design, Dierdre has built a reputation for creating sophisticated spaces rooted in warmth, texture, and timeless elegance. Her signature style blends classic organic influences with refined neutral palettes and layered materials, resulting in interiors that feel both luxurious and deeply personal.

From Jamaica to Luxury Interior Design

Originally from Jamaica, Dierdre’s love for design was inspired early in life by her architect brother. Watching architecture and creativity come to life around her sparked a passion that would later shape her career.

Determined to pursue interior design professionally, she moved to Miami, where she earned her MFA and quickly established herself within the design world. During her graduate studies, she was awarded Best in Show at IDEC for her thesis — an achievement that reflected both her creativity and technical design expertise.

Building a Career in Miami and Las Vegas

Before launching Design Republic, Dierdre worked extensively in both commercial and high-end residential interiors throughout Miami, Florida. Her experience designing luxury spaces eventually led her to Las Vegas, where she further refined her aesthetic while working on multi-million-dollar estates and luxury hospitality projects.

Over the years, she became known for creating interiors that feel elevated yet approachable — balancing architectural detail, custom furnishings, and thoughtful functionality.

Her work has since been featured in Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles, The Spruce, and Vegas Magazine, while her projects span some of Las Vegas’ most exclusive communities including MacDonald Highlands, The Ridges, Lake Las Vegas, and The Summit Club.

The Launch of Design Republic

In 2024, Dierdre officially launched Design Republic — a boutique interior design firm specializing in luxury residential interiors, custom furnishings, and staging.

Her vision for the company was clear: create a highly personalized design experience where every project feels intentional, layered, and reflective of the client’s lifestyle.

Today, Design Republic continues expanding beyond Las Vegas into Southern Florida and other luxury markets, bringing Dierdre’s editorial-inspired design approach to homes nationwide.

Designing a Life as Beautiful as the Spaces She Creates

Outside of design, Dierdre draws inspiration from travel, sunsets by the water, and quiet evenings spent with tea and a documentary. Family remains at the center of everything she does, and weekends are intentionally reserved for time with her husband and daughter.

That balance between elevated design and meaningful living is ultimately what defines Design Republic — creating homes that not only look beautiful, but truly feel like home.
